CUSTOMER REVIEWS
Early days, but seem to be working Posted: 13 March 2010
Bought 3 of these a few weeks ago for an L-shaped garden being used as a cat litter tray by all the local cats. I also purchased rechargeable batteries for all 3 units as recommended in some of these reviews...one set (on the unit in quite a high 'passing traffic' spot) only lasted just over a week but that's not really a problem. The others are still going ok.
Only one cat poo in 3 weeks so far, so they seem to be doing an ok job. There is a noticeable reduction in the number of cats that walk across the garden - in fact they now seem to walk around the garden and along the path behind a headge to avoid the cat scarers. The attachment method on the rear of the unit to the supplied spike is a bit flimsy and doesn't look like it will stand a strong breeze, but time will tell.
Fingers crossed that this will do the job longer-term. If you're at your wits-end I'd suggest giving it a go.
dead on arrival Posted: 10 March 2010
We bought one of these some months ago and were very happy with it, so much so that we bought another. However, this second one was dead on arrival and did not have the manual/guarantee (not that that matters).of course, we returned the second one to Amazon.
It Worked! Posted: 08 March 2010
We had a complaint from a neighbour saying that they are finding cat poo all over their lawn from our two cats, even after putting down cat pepper and other repelants.
i looked in to buying the cat stopper but due to it being dearer and having worse reviews than this one 'the big cheese' i oppted for this one.
it was set up in the neighbours garden, basically insert batteries and your good to go. then within 1 week we started to see our cats using the liiter tray again instead of going out. this made it quite obvious to us that the ultra high pitch noise was definately working!!! progress!!!
since then our cats have started going to the toilet somewhere outside again but definately NOT in our neighbours garden. they are very pleased with the result.
i just hope our cats aren't crappin in one of our other neighbours gardens now!
this products can not be heard when it goes off, although there is a test button which lowers the frequency to human audible level just to hear that it is working.
also the best part is it doesn't hurt the cat, and large dogs also can not hear it.

I was dubious about buying this due to mixed reviews I had read. However, It works a treat. No cat fouling since It was installed. I recommend this product

I was sceptical that anything would work to stop these nuiscance visitors into my garden and contaminating every bit of soil they could, but yes, this does work, the cats do not like the sound it emits at all. Excellent product, now all the family want one.
